Caldwell man dies in Payette County crash

Byron Milburn, 37, died Friday after he apparently failed to yield at a stop sign and his car was hit by a truck, Idaho State Police report.

The accident was reported about 4:45 p.m. at Elmore Road and Southwest 1st Avenue in Payette County, ISP reports. The International farm truck that hit Milburn's Mercedes was driven by Timothy Eicher, 23, of New Plymouth, according to a news release.

Milburn was not wearing a seatbelt, ISP reports.
