Boise Mayor David Bieter to give State of the City address Thursday
Like last year, Boise Mayor David Bieter's State of the City address will be held in Downtown Boise’s Egyptian Theatre this year.
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event, scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Thursday, is sold out. People who want to watch it can see the address live-streamed on the city of Boise's website and on the city's Facebook page via Facebook live.
A recording of the speech will be available on the city website after the event.
This will be Bieter's 13th State of the City address. He is the longest serving mayor in Boise's history.
Immediately following the speech, the Chamber of Commerce will host an after-party featuring food, drinks and entertainment on the Basque Block of West Grove Street. Tickets for the after-party are $25 each. For more information, check the Chamber’s State of the City webpage.
