Traffic Alert: Leak in geothermal line closes 13th from Grove to Main

A busy stretch of Downtown Boise street closed late Monday afternoon and will remain closed until Tuesday afternoon while crews repair a geothermal line.

The lane closure is on 13th Street between Grove and Main streets, according to a Boise public works news release. The right lane on Main Street at that intersection also closed. City public works crews were expected to work through the night Monday and complete the repairs Tuesday afternoon, according to the city news release.

Drivers should plan for alternate routes, use caution and expect delays, the city reports.
