An 18-year-old Boise man faces sexual assault charges following an early morning incident Monday at a residence near South Owyhee and West Targee streets, Boise police said in a news release.
Andrew Garlock faces charges of burglary, kidnapping, two counts of forcible penetration by a foreign object, and aggravated battery, all felonies. He was charged after police responded to a report of a prowler in a residence about 3:30 a.m. Monday.
Officers found evidence that someone broke into a home and held a minor female victim against her will. They also found evidence of aggravated battery and forcible penetration, according to the release.
Police made contact with the suspect, who was known to the victim. Garlock was booked and transported to the Ada County Jail, police said.
The victim is receiving support assistance through the Victim Services Unit, police said.
Garlock is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Ada County Magistrate Court.
