Boise man hurt in pickup truck crash west of Stanley
Charles V. Sturmer, 55, was flown Saturday evening from the scene of the crash to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
He remained at that hospital in fair condition Monday.
Idaho State Police say Sturmer was headed east on Idaho 21 near milepost 124 when he drove his 1994 Ford Ranger across the highway’s center line. He then went off the south side of the road, where the pickup hit tree stumps and rocks.
Stumer was wearing his seat belt, says ISP.
