Try out Boise’s new ‘dog bone’ roundabout

Treasure Valley residents now have full access to the new dog bone roundabout, built on 36th and Hill streets.

Drivers have had access to the new intersection, dubbed the Catalpa Roundabout, since the morning of June 1, according to Craig Quintana, spokesperson for the Ada County Highway Department.

But, ACHD will be hosting a celebration of the revamped intersection Wednesday morning at 10:30.

The project cost about $3.2 million and replaced a traditional five-way intersection.
