Boise woman injured in Interstate 184 crash
A Boise woman was injured in a crash on Interstate 184 on Monday.
Kimberly Sanchez, 25, was driving westbound on Interstate 184 near milepost 0 in a 2005 Honda Civic at about 3:30 p.m. Sanchez was driving in a lane to go to Nampa, but she wanted to be in a lane going to Mountain Home. According to Idaho State Police, Sanchez cut across several lanes, lost control of the vehicle and hit the jersey barrier. The vehicle rolled onto its right side.
She was transported by ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The extent of her injuries is not known.
Sanchez was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle’s airbags deployed.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 184 were blocked for about one and a half hours.
The crash is under investigation.
