Missing Boise boy located

Boise Police Department announced a teen reported missing has been found safe and sound and was reunited with his family on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers had asked for assistance in locating 16-year-old Devon on Tuesday evening after he was last seen that afternoon.

He was last seen on foot in the area of Albion Street and South Latah Street at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and police sent out a news release seeking public help about 9:30 p.m.

Reports indicated the teen left home without medication, and his family is concerned for his well being.

Officers received word on Wednesday the teen had possibly been seen in the Curtis and Cassia area. They were able to locate him not long after.

Officers would like to thank all those who assisted in locating Devon and rejoining him with his family.
