About 5,000 in Meridian lose power overnight
About 5,000 Idaho Power customers lost power Monday night after a driver crashed their vehicle into a power pole, according to Idaho Power.
Customers in southeast Meridian, from Lake Hazel to Maple Grove roads, experienced the outage starting around 11:45 p.m. The power was restored by about 4:30 a.m. to all customers, accordnig to Idaho Power.
The crash was called in around Five Mile Road and La Grange Street and Ada County Sheriff deputies responded, according to Ada County dispatch. No one was injured in the crash according to a KBOI Channel 2 report.
