Street sections near St. Luke’s Boise will close Tuesday afternoon

Two portions of Downtown Boise streets will close for a couple of days starting Tuesday afternoon “to accommodate the St. Luke’s National Health Care Week event,” the Ada County Highway District announced Monday.

Starting at 3 p.m. Tuesday and continuing until after 8 a.m. Thursday, 1st Street between Jefferson Street and Idaho Street, and Bannock Street between 1st Street and 2nd Street will temporarily close to through traffic, ACHD reports.

Detours will be in place, and motorists should find alternate routes of travel when possible, ACHD said.
