Boise police believe woman fatally shot man, then herself
Mazen Al-Qaisi, 24, and LouAnn Nettleton, 32, were shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide at their home in the 10000 block of West Glen Ellyn Street, Boise police said Monday night.
Investigators believe Al-Qaisi was the victim, and Nettleton shot herself, according to a BPD news release.
The two both lived in the residence on West Glen Ellyn, according to BPD.
“Police continue to investigate, and detectives do not believe there is reason to fear anyone else is involved,” the news release said.
The pair were pronounced dead Sunday night, and the Ada County Coroner’s Office released their names late Monday afternoon, after next of kin were notified. An autopsy was conducted, the coroner’s office reports.
Boise police officers reportedly found the two dead about 7 p.m. Sunday while responding to a request for a welfare check at the home off North Five Mile Road. Police have not said who requested the welfare check, or why.
According to online records, Al-Qaisi had lived in the home on Glen Ellyn since last December. Police said Nettleton also lived there.
