Thousands run for Boise’s ‘Race for the Cure’

A 5K stretch starting at 250 East Parkcenter Boulevard was jammed with people running in solidarity with breast cancer survivors, the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure.”

The annual race brought out thousands Saturday, who ran or walked with teams, families or on their own.

The funds from the race go toward breast cancer education, screening and treatment.
