One person sustained minor injuries when their pickup got T-boned by a semi driver Thursday morning, according to Tracy Basterrechea, Meridian deputy chief of police.

Ada County dispatch learned of the injury accident involving a semitrailer and pickup truck at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The driver of a pickup crossed Meridian Road at Calderwood Street and the driver of the semitrailer T-boned the pickup, Basterrechea said.

The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital, but only as a precautionary measure, since their injuries were minor, Basterrechea said.
