Ada County Highway District is working on a plan to help improve walking and bicycling in North Boise. As part of the plan the agency is working with residents in the area to identify issues and concerns related to walking and biking in the community and possible solutions.
ACHD is holding an open house to get the public’s opinion from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Boise Senior Center, 690 N. Robbins Road.
Anyone who cannot attend the open house but would still like to comment can do so through May 12 by taking an online survey or by mailing comments to ACHD, 3775 Adams St., Garden City, ID 83714.
ACHD staff will evaluate the comments and incorporate them into the agency’s North Boise Bike and Pedestrian Plan, which will help identify policies and projects that can be implemented to support walking and biking in the area.
