Boise motorcyclist injured after striking deer
A 34-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning after he struck a deer that jumped in front of his motorcycle.
The man, who was not publicly identified, was riding north on Cartwright Road a little after 7 when he collided with the deer, said Patrick Orr, spokesman for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
The rider was wearing a helmet and other protective gear. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The deer died in the collision.
No citations were issued.
