Treasure Valley children rush Zoo Boise for annual Eggstravaganza
Zoo Boise hosted several Easter egg hunts Saturday for kids of all ages and abilities at their annual Eggstravaganza.
At the beginning of each hunt, children would crowd anxiously behind the starting line. When the count down reached zero, the crowd of kids rushed the field filled with eggs to claim their prizes.
Malia Hedrick, 4, said she found two pieces of candy, but had a lot of fun.
“We're looking for Easter eggs and candy, and to see the animals,” she said.
The zoo estimated they placed about 30,000 pieces of candy in total.
