Main Street between 9th Street and Capitol Boulevard in Downtown Boise will be closed from Monday, Feb. 15, through Friday, Feb. 19, according to Ada Count Highway District.
The closure is needed so crews working on the City Center Plaza project can remove a construction crane.
Detour routes will be posted and motorists should plan to avoid the area.
One lane of Main will be opened at night when the crews are not working.
In Eagle, Edgewood Lane north of State Street will close for about six weeks beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16, so crews can replace a bridge.
Detour signs will be posted, and motorists should choose an alternate route while the bridge is under construction.
Construction is expected to be complete in mid-April.
Once completed, the new bridge will include a sidewalk and bicycle lanes.
In Kuna, construction starts Monday on a roundabout at the intersection of Linder, Main and 3rd streets.
During construction, business and emergency access will be maintained, and detours will be in place:
▪ 3rd and Main streets will be detoured to Cleveland Avenue, then to 4th Street.
▪ Linder will be detoured to 2nd and 4th streets
Work is expected to be completed in July.
Once completed, the project will include a single-lane roundabout, sidewalks and pedestrian crossings at 2nd Street and Linder and 4th Street and Linder.
