Boise woman advances to semi-finals in ‘Jeopardy!’ college tournament
Timberline High School graduate Niki Peters won her game Friday, closing out first-round play in this year’s two-week college tournament.
Now a sophomore studying integrative biology at the University of California, Berkeley, Peters will compete in the semi-finals next week. The winner of the two-day finals will earn $100,000.
Another Boise contestant, Capital High graduate Kevin Brown, competed Tuesday. The Louisiana State University senior’s earnings fell just short of the amount needed to earn a wild-card spot in the semifinals.
“Jeopardy!” airs at 6 p.m. weekdays on KBOI-TV, Channel 2.
