Man found dead at Julia Davis Park; Boise police say no evidence of foul play
Boise police are investigating the death of a man found in Julia Davis Park Saturday afternoon.
A man, possibly in his 50s, was found dead on the north bank of the Boise River by a passerby around 1:50 p.m. in the park, according to BPD.

— Boise PD (@BoisePD) January 30, 2016Boise State Security tweeted about the death around 2 p.m. and described it as suspicious. But officers have said there’s not evidence of foul play, and they’re still working to determine the cause of death.

The Ada County Coroner is expected to release the name of the deceased after family has been notified, according to BPD.
Anyone with information about the circumstances of the man’s death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
