Boise Public Library unveils Hoopla streaming service
Boise Public Library patrons can now download up to 10 movies, TV shows, audiobooks, ebooks and graphic novels per month using Hoopla, a media streaming service.
There's no waiting for those with Hoopla, because multiple customers can check out the same titles at the same time. The downloads are automatically returned, avoiding any late fees.
Here's how to set up an account: Visit the library's website and click on the Hoopla element at the top of the screen. Next, click on "Log in," then "Sign up now" and follow instructions. The Hoopla app is free for mobile devices.
Hoopla is the Boise library's latest online service. Other popular services include Zinio digital magazines, Freegal music, Overdrive ebooks, PBS documentaries and a variety of digital career, research and genealogical resources, according to a Boise Public Library news release.
For more information, visit the library's website — www.boisepubliclibrary.org — or call (208) 972-8255.
