Boise teen who had been missing since Friday found safe
Boise police officers reported that a 17-year-old was found safe at a day shelter, after family had reported that she hadn’t been seen since Friday.
She had been last seen walking down Fairview Avenue from the intersection of Mitchell Street at 2:30 p.m. She took a tent with her and had made statements that she intended to leave home for an extended period of time, but family members worry she is not capable of subsisting on her own, police said.
Michelle was carrying some sort of tent with her, and had made remarks that she wished to camp on her own, away from home. Family members worried she wasn’t capable of safely doing that, and given the freezing temperatures, wanted her home.
But, by Saturday morning Michelle has been reunited with her family.
