Southwest begins Boise-Sacramento nonstop

The Boise Airport announced in June that Southwest Airlines would begin offering nonstop service between here and Sacramento.

That once-a-day service began Wednesday. Flights, available Monday through Friday, will be scheduled to leave Boise at 8:25 a.m. and arrives in Sacramento at 9 a.m. The return flights will leave Sacramento at 6:05 p.m. and arrive at 8:25 p.m.

Southwest has operated out of Boise since 1994. It also provides nonstops from Boise to Denver, Las Vegas, Oakland, Phoenix and Spokane, Wash.

Alaska Airlines also offers nonstop flights to Sacramento.
