Update: Deputies find driver of burned vehicle found near Kuna
A 39-year-old Caldwell man was the driver of a burned-out vehicle found near Swan Falls Dam Wednesday morning, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The sheriff’s office is still looking into the cause of the apparent Tuesday night crash partway down the Swan Falls access road.
Dispatchers received no 911 calls about the incident and investigators aren’t entirely sure what happened immediately after, spokesman Patrick Orr said. The man told deputies he climbed up to the road after the crash and got a ride to a local hospital, but some details he’s given have conflicted. The man is being treated for significant, but not life-threatening injuries.
Dam employees found the car around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The sheriff’s office reported nobody was in or near the vehicle at the time it was found.
