Boise turns out to support Kellen Moore’s first start in the NFL

Though the game didn’t turn out for the Dallas Cowboys, Boise turned out for Kellen Moore to see his first start as a quarterback in the NFL.

Judy Christopherson came out all the way from Star to watch Moore play with the Cowboys against the Buffalo Bills with a group at the Taphouse.

“He’s our hero,” she said. “He’s our hometown hero.”

Though the game wasn’t swinging in his team’s favor, she still said Moore was doing a good job.

“He's been doing ok, he doesn't have a lot of help, but he keeps their spirits up and he's doing really well,” she said.

Penny Dunlap, who works at the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute, said she’s met Moore before, and appreciates him as a person and as a football player.

She watched the Dallas game at the Ram Restaurant and Brewery.

“I'm very excited about Kellen Moore because I think he's a fabulous quarterback,” she said. “I've known him for forever: since he played for Boise State, and it's about time he finally got started. He's our quarterback. He's our boy.”
