Treasure Valley forecast: cold and fairly dry

After a lot of precipitation the last week, forecasters expect the Treasure Valley to dry out somewhat between now and the New Year.

The National Weather Service's forecast calls for conditions ranging between mostly sunny and mostly cloudy into New Year's Day, without much snow or rain.

Skiers shouldn't worry too much, though. Forecasters expect a week straight of highs in the 20s and lows in the teens on the floor of the Treasure Valley, and about 10 degrees colder at Bogus Basin.

Brundage Mountain should be even colder and might get some snow next week.
