Hundreds attend tree lighting in Downtown Boise

Mayor Dave Bieter flipped the switch on Boise’s Christmas tree Saturday night in The Grove Plaza as part of the Zions Bank Holiday Treelighting Celebration.

Attendees sang carols and joined in a candle-lighting ceremony while an all-star lineup of musicians provided entertainment. Valley residents are invited to take a tag from the Giving Tree on the plaza through Dec. 19 in order to support the Women’s & Children’s Alliance.
