Watch out for road closures in Downtown Boise on Thanksgiving

The Turkey Day 5K Run in Downtown Boise will mean road closures starting 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to Ada County Highy District.

Between Main and Idaho streets, Capitol Boulevard will shut down Wednesday night. But that closure will extend to Bannock Street and Idaho Street between 5th Street and Capitol Boulevard 4 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to ACHD.

The roads are expected to be reopened by noon Thursday. Boise Police Department will assist in directing traffic, according to ACHD.
