Nampa man cited in cement truck crash
A Nampa man has been cited for driving a cement truck too fast for conditions after a crash that blocked traffic for several hours Monday, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.
Brian Card, 51, was heading west on Chinden Boulevard when he lost control of the truck and struck a passenger car. The truck flipped on its side near Locust Grove Road around 2 p.m. and blocked the intersection until it was removed around 5:15 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.
No one was injured, and the cement truck wasn’t carrying cement at the time of the incident, the sheriff’s office reports.
