A 98-unit apartment building is proposed for the corner of Beacon Street and Boise Avenue.
The five-story building features parking on the first level and four levels of housing.
The developer, FH Broncos, LLC out of Sherman Oaks, Calif., is seeking a height exception for the 60-foot-tall building which exceeds the zone’s height limit by about 15 feet.
Four dilapidated homes on the 1.15-acre site will be demolished to make way for the project, which is adjacent to Boise State campus.
Boise Planning and Zoning will hold a public hearing on the proposal at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.
Four private student housing projects comprising nearly 550 units have recently been completed just west of campus across Capitol Boulevard in the Lusk Street and Royal Avenue area.
