City of Boise to gather public input on Ridge to Rivers trail system

The City of Boise is asking for the public’s input and hosting workshops to plan out how to build and maintain a trail system in the foothills, according to a Ridge to Rivers press release.

The project has already collected comments from about 2,700 people on their online survey released Oct. 1, but now will host two workshops: one at the Boise Depot from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 17 and the other at Riverglen Junior High School from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 19, according to the release.

The workshops will feature polling stations and a mapping exercise to brainstorm trail head locations, according to the release.

About 400,000 people use the trails every year, according to the release.
