Boise replacing pathway between DeMeyer Park and HP campus
Work is scheduled to begin April 1 to put a 10-foot-wide concrete path in place of the existing asphalt path between DeMeyer Park and the Hewlett-Packard campus in Northwest Boise.
The project is scheduled to take a month and will close the path, according to a Boise Parks and Recreation news release. Clearwater Landscape & Irrigation of Nampa will be in charge of the $118,000 project, which is funded by the city of Boise.
The pathway, which links DeMeyer Park to HP, is popular with bicycle commuters in West Boise.
DeMeyer Park, located at 5100 N. Tumbleweed Drive, is a 12-acre neighborhood park with a large pond, playground, open grassy areas, a picnic shelter and sport courts. Find more information on the park here.
