Boise teen student located and safe after more than weeklong search

Update: The Ada County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Kylie had been located as of Wednesday evening, and she is safe.

Original story:

Ada County detectives said they’ve “exhausted available leads” in the search for a missing Boise student. So they turned to the public for help on March 5, over a week after the girl went missing.

Kylie, 15, did not return home on Feb. 26 from East Junior High School in East Boise, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a social media post on Thursday afternoon.

Law enforcement described Kylie as having pierced ears and two nose piercings. She was last seen wearing baggy jeans and a black hoodie, according to the agency.

The sheriff’s office asked anyone who has seen Kylie or who knows where she may be to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.

Shannon Tyler contributed reporting.
