Update: Boise police say missing man has been found, taken to hospital

Update: Boise police announced shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday that the missing man was “located and has been transported to a local hospital for care.”

Police have turned to the public for help finding a missing vulnerable adult.

A 72-year-old man was last seen at about 10 p.m. Wednesday near South Orchard Street and West Overland Road on the Boise Bench, according to an alert sent by the Boise Police Department at 1:27 a.m. Thursday.

The alert said he is a bald white man with a handlebar mustache, and was wearing a maroon sweater, jeans and yellow boots.

Law enforcement asked anyone with information to call 911.
