Three more food and drink options have landed at the Boise Airport
Two new coffee shops and a local favorite are open for business at the Boise Airport, as the facility nears its completion of a food and merchandise makeover.
Travelers can now visit Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery, Form & Function Coffee and Starbucks while waiting to catch a flight. The last restaurant to open as part of the airport’s new look is Wendy’s, which is slated for completion in February, airport spokesperson Jennifer Kronberg told the Idaho Statesman.
“From first sip to final toast, your pre-flight routine just got an upgrade!” the airport stated in a Facebook post Friday.
In June 2024, the Boise Airport first announced its plan to replace or renovate the site of all vendors when their 10-year concessions contracts came up for renewal. The newly crafted vision for the airport was to highlight the best of Boise with restaurants and shops for travelers. The new restaurants were chosen after a public solicitation for proposals.
Bardenay, which is not new to the airport but has been under renovation, is located at the food court in Concourse B just after TSA security. Starbucks, which replaced Einstein Bros. Bagels, sits next to Bardenay. Form & Function, which replaced Harvest & Grounds, is downstairs in Concourse C.
Wendy’s will be located next to Starbucks in the food court.
Other new local additions are Idaho Tap House, Waffle Me Up and The STIL, Turas Flights & Bites by Telaya Wine Co., Away by Flying M, Treefort Outpost Food + Drink, and Blue Sky Bagels.
