Update: Boise police announced on social media at 2:49 p.m. Sunday that Benjamin had been located and was safe.

The Boise Police Department is looking for a missing man whose family says he was last seen on Thursday.

The 18-year-old, named Benjamin, was last seen at 10 p.m. Thursday at a home on Jackie Lane, the department stated in a Facebook post. Police did not provide the missing person’s last name.

Benjamin left the home between 10 p.m. that night and 7:30 a.m. the next morning in a blue Toyota, the post states.

Police say he did not show up to work on Dec. 5.

“Benjamin’s friends and family say this behavior is extremely out of character and they are worried for his safety and well-being,” the Facebook post reads.

Police ask anyone with information to call the dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS (2677) or visit 343COPS.com.
