The Ada County Coroner’s Office identified the body found at a Boise recycling center last week as a 54-year-old Boise man, and the Boise Police Department determined through a preliminary investigation that no crime is suspected.

The coroner identified the man as Michael Evans, according to a Thursday press release. Evans was found at the Republic Services Recycling Center on the 1900 block of South Cole Road on Sept. 26, the coroner’s office confirmed to the Idaho Statesman.

There is no evidence that any crime was committed leading to his death, police spokesperson Haley Williams told the Statesman in an email.

The cause and manner of death were still listed as pending on the coroner’s report, and police are still investigating.
