Boise scooter rider collides with vehicle, hospitalized with serious injuries

A vehicle seriously injured a scooter rider in a collision in downtown Boise on Sunday.

A vehicle collided with a scooter before 10 a.m. at the intersection of South 9th and West Myrtle streets, the Boise Police Department said in a social media post.

Police said the rider “appeared on scene to have life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.”

Law enforcement closed the street for about three hours as they investigated the accident.
