A brush fire started near South Eyele Avenue and East Plexi Court around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, the Boise Fire Department posted on Twitter. The fire was burning about 20 acres, but no evacuations were in place at that time, the department said.

The Bureau of Land Management was sending “resources” to help contain the fire, the post said. The department urged residents to avoid the area.

Boise Fire did not immediately respond to an email or calls seeking additional information.

The intersection mentioned in the department’s post is about three miles from Micron.
