This theater chain is showing $1 movies in the Boise area. Here’s how long the deal lasts

Are you looking for ways to beat the heat in the Treasure Valley?

As scorching temperatures blanket Idaho, Regal Cinemas is offering discounted movie tickets and snacks as part of its summer movie series, according to its website.

“Summer is here, school is out and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids,” the movie theater chain wrote on its site.

The Regal Summer Movie Express series, which ends Aug. 7, includes $1 tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for select family-friendly films, including “Kung Fu Panda 3” and “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.”

  • “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse”

  • “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie”
  • “Clifford The Big Red Dog”
  • “Sonic The Hedgehog”
  • “Trolls Band Together”
  • “Sonic the Hedgehog 2”
  • “Lyle, Lyle Crocodile”
  • “Kung Fu Panda 3”
  • “Minions: The Rise Of Gru”
  • “Sing 2”

Where are Regal Cinemas locations in the Treasure Valley?

There are two Regal Cinemas locations in the Treasure Valley:

  • Regal Edwards Spectrum Cinemas, 7701 W. Overland Road, Boise

  • Regal Edwards Spectrum Cinemas, 2001 N. Cassia St., Nampa

How much are snacks?

Discounted snack packs are available for Summer Movie Express moviegoers.

The $5 deal includes a junior-sized drink, a snack-sized popcorn and fruit snacks.

Dippin’ Dots are an extra $3.
