Update: Boise police say missing teenager has been located after seeking public’s help

The Boise Police Department said a missing local teenager was “found and is safe.” They asked the public for help searching for him on Saturday.

Matthew was previously last seen on foot without money or a cellphone at 7:30 a.m. Saturday near West Hill Road and North 36th Street, according to police. The teenager is 6-foot-2 and 140 pounds.

The department said that officers and family were “worried for his safety.”

On Sunday evening, they announced on social media that Matthew had been found.
