Mountain Home police chase ends with crash and the driver, 34, taken to the hospital
A Mountain Home police chase ended with one person going to the hospital on Sunday.
A 34-year-old man from Mountain Home driving a Chevrolet Caprice attempted to elude Mountain Home police and Elmore County Sheriff’s Office deputies as he drove west on Airbase Road, according to an Idaho State Police news release
At 12:13 a.m., the Toyota crashed at the Elmcrest Avenue intersection, police said. The driver was injured and needed to be taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The highway was blocked for more than two hours. Idaho State Police said they were investigating the incident.
