The Ada County Coroner’s Office said Monday that Devann Horine, 21, of Kuna, was the individual killed in a Saturday night car crash along Interstate 84.

Horine was driving the vehicle, and a 22-year-old female passenger was hospitalized.

An Idaho State Police news release said that just before 9 p.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old man driving a Subaru Legacy west on Interstate 84 in Meridian had the car go off the right shoulder, where it struck a tree and rolled.

Horine died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to a news release from the coroner, and the manner of death was listed as an accident.

Neither Horine nor the female passenger was wearing a seat belt, according to Idaho State Police.

The interstate’s right lane was blocked for about two hours near milepost 45. ISP said it is still investigating the crash.
