Update: Idaho Falls police said in a news release Tuesday night that Maya Jones was located. They did not indicate where or what her condition was. Below is the original story.

The Idaho Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered teenage girl.

Maya Jones, 16, is believed to be with 32-year-old Tigan Howes in the Boise area. They may be traveling in a gold 2001 Toyota Camry with license plate 8BAE54U.

Jones, who is Black, has black hair and brown eyes, and is approximately 5-foot-8 and 115 pounds. Howes, who is white, is 5-7 and weighs 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Jones, Howes or the vehicle is asked to contact their local law enforcement immediately, according to a news release. Anyone who has information that may help locate Jones can contact the Idaho Falls Police Department at 208-529-1200 and ask to speak with Detective Gramm.
