A Gem County crash sent three people to the hospital.

According to an Idaho State Police news release:

At 1:08 p.m. Saturday, a 51-year-old Middleton man was driving a minivan north on Little Freezeout Road when the van crossed into the southbound lane and collided “head-on” with a Jeep. The Jeep had three juveniles in it.

An ambulance took the van driver and two juveniles to a local hospital after it was determined they needed medical attention.

Officials closed the southbound lane at the site of the crash on Little Freezeout Road near West Alta Vista Street, south of Emmett, for three hours.

Police were investigating.
