This map will show you gas prices in Idaho, and here’s where to get cheaper fuel in Boise
Gas prices are still rising in Idaho.

Ada County prices are sitting close to the state average at $4.74 per gallon, but just a couple of miles northeast in Boise County, you’ll find the most expensive gas in the state at $5.07.
That price puts the county close to Illinois’ average gas price, the seventh-costliest state. Idaho is a little further down the list at No. 15.
Meanwhile, the cheapest county in the state is Bonneville County in eastern Idaho, where the price per gallon is $4.56, bringing it even with 25th-ranked Florida.

How to find cheaper gas in Ada County
Although gas stations across the Boise area are showing increasingly higher prices, that doesn’t mean you can’t find ways to save a little money. Several grocery stores throughout the region offer reward programs that provide cheaper gas for shopping at their locations.
Costco Anywhere Visa Card: Costco has partnered with multinational bank Citibank to offer a Visa card that offers 4% cash back on eligible gas purchases for the first $7,000 spent per year and then 1% after that.
The card also offers 3% cash back on restaurants and eligible travel, 2% on all purchases from Costco, and 1% on all other purchases. Cashback is given as an annual fee reward certificate once your February billing statement closes.
Costco gas prices are often the lowest in the area and are only available with a Costco membership card. The price per gallon at the Costco at 2051 S. Cole Road is $4.67, seven cents cheaper than the Ada County average.
Albertsons rewards: Albertsons offers a reward card that gives you a point for every dollar you spend on groceries, and two points for every dollar you spend on gift cards within Albertsons.
Every 100 points will earn you a reward point, and each point can be used for 10 cents off per gallon at participating Chevron gas stations. Reward points have to be used by the end of the following month in which they are earned.
Fred Meyer Fuel Program: Like Albertsons, Fred Meyer also offers 10 cents off per gallon for accumulating 100 points from spending money in Fred Meyer grocery stores. Two points can be earned from purchasing gift cards, and more points can be achieved from picking up prescriptions at Fred Meyer.
Points can be redeemed at participating Shell gas stations. Reward points have to be used by the end of the following month in which they are earned.
