Championship round to name Boise’s favorite March Madness sports bar is here. Vote now
The championship game is here.
No, not quite in the NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments — their respective Final Fours are this weekend — but in the Idaho Statesman’s March Madness sports bar bracket.
Out of an original field of 32 bars in the Treasure Valley, just two remain in the battle to be voted as the Treasure Valley’s favorite place to watch March Madness.
On the south side of the Boise River, just adjacent to Boise State University, sits one of our finalists, The Shed. Located at 1010 La Pointe Street, The Shed looks exactly what you’d expect a sports bar to look like: sports flags hanging from the ceiling, plenty of televisions and a wide selection of classic sports bar menu items.
The Shed’s challenger comes from Boise’s North End, in the Hyde Park area: the aptly named Hyde Park Pub & Grill. Located at 1501 N. 13th Street, it features both outside and inside dining. The interior features a long main bar that faces TVs, as well as individual tables and booths that face televisions spread throughout the bar.
Check out the other 30 bars that participated in our bracket on the interactive map below, and scroll down to vote for Boise’s favorite sports bar during March Madness.
Polling for the championship round closes at noon on Wednesday.
