A crash early Sunday left one person dead and two in the hospital.

A 33-year-old Nampa man was driving north with two passengers on State Highway 51, according to Idaho State Police. At 12:39 a.m., the Ford pickup truck went off the road south of Mountain Home, the driver overcorrected and the vehicle then rolled, police said.

A woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, succumbed to injuries at the scene. A child, who was not in a child safety seat, was flown by air ambulance to a local hospital. The man also was taken to the hospital.

Police said they have notified next of kin and continue to investigate the incident.
