Boise man dies in single-vehicle crash after veering off road, Oregon State Police say
A Boise man died Saturday after his car veered off Interstate 5 in Oregon and careened down an embankment, state police troopers said.
Oregon State Police said Robert Williamson, 43, of Boise, was traveling southbound in the right lane in a 2001 Saab when the crash occurred.
Oregon State Police troopers, Albany Fire and Rescue, and the Oregon Department of Transportation responded to the crash at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday near milepost 234 in Albany, according to OSP.
Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release.
