Southeast Boise home catches fire while family is away, killing a cat, firefighters say

A house in Southeast Boise caught fire Friday morning, according to the Boise Fire Department, resulting in the death of a cat.

At around 11:30 a.m., the home in the 3000 block of Muleskinner Drive caught fire. The cause is under investigation.

The homeowners were camping at the time so there were no people in the house, according to a Boise Fire Department tweet.
