Boise police find one man, continue search for another man who went missing this week
Police in Boise have found one missing man but were still searching Friday for another.
In separate news releases Thursday, the Boise Police Department said officers were searching for 85-year-old John Killmaster and 61-year-old Curtis “Greg” Kelsay. On Friday, police said they had located Killmaster, and he was safe and sound. But Kelsay had yet to be found.
Police said Kelsay went missing since late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. He was last seen Wednesday night, and Kelsay’s family believes he left his home sometime before they realized he was unaccounted for Thursday.
Kelsay reportedly left his home near Lakeharbor Lane and State Street without his phone, wallet or medication. Police said that was concerning and unusual behavior for Kelsay.
His silver Honda Civic was found by police on Bogus Basin Road.
Kelsay is described as 5’11” and weighing about 145 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
Killmaster had been reported missing Thursday morning after he was last seen around 10:30 a.m. walking on Annett Street near his home.
